Investment Banking Research underlies all aspects of BGL's business, from new issues and secondary fundraisings, through to supporting our corporate stock broking and sales teams. The quality, accuracy and timeliness of our research is key to our ability to service our institutional and corporate clients and, in light of this, we have built a team of analysts covering a wide range of sectors.

The Research team provides comprehensive research on Nigerian companies listed on the Nigerian stock exchange. We have a strong emphasis on highly capitalized companies but also research many other companies - including non-listed companies - within our core sectors.

BGL Limited adopts a team approach to stock and sector selection. We recognise that market sectors are linked to each other. By maximising dialogue between our sector analysts we gain a perspective on the stock market as a whole, helping us to identify broader economic trends and their likely effect on stock prices.

In addition to pathfinder research for IPOs and secondary fund raisings and regular stock specific analysis we have developed a number of other research products aimed at providing institutional investors with additional market commentary and insight on key market trends, as well as stock specific information.
